About NECA Education and Careers

NECA Education & Careers is a not-for-profit training and employment provider for the electrical and communications industry, owned by NECA. Operating for over 30 years, it delivers vocational education programs, from pre-apprenticeships to ongoing development and upskilling of electricians, contractors and other electrical and communications professionals.

Training Facilities and Expertise

Operating out of purpose-built training facilities in Carlton North and Dandenong campuses are equipped with advanced training resources to support learning in areas such as solar installations, data and communications, and home automation.

As an organisation, there is a strong emphasis on innovation in education, demonstrated through the development of cutting-edge courses like IoT in Electrical Applications and being among the first to implement the updated national apprenticeship training package introduced in 2023.

All electrical instructors are fully qualified A-Grade electricians, ensuring high-quality, relevant education, from professionals who have experience within the industry.
