HSEQ Plus covers two fundamental elements of most workplace health and safety legislation:

  • Employer(s) provide and maintain a safe working environment without risk
  • Employee(s) take reasonable care for the health and safety aspect of their Duty of Care

NECA’s Health and Safety Management System is:

  • Comprises of 16 elements to fully meet the requirements of AS4801:2001 OHS management System

NECA’s Health and Safety System meets the requirements of the following Standards:

  • ISO 45001:2018 Health and Safety Management System
  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
  • ISO 14001:2018 Environmental Management System

The above International Standards are used as a best practice benchmark to assess Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems within organisations.

NECA can conduct an annual health check against key elements of the AS/NZS 4801 and OHS legislation to see how you are implementing the System. It will include a gap analysis and recommendations on improvements required.

The NECA quality management plan has been developed for the electrical contracting industry and is designed to assist members meet their requirements of the International Quality Standard ISO 9000.


NECA provides an Environmental Management Plan to members who wish to implement an Environmental Management System within their organisation. The NECA environmental management plan has been developed for the electrical contracting industry and is designed to assist members meet their requirements of the International Environmental Standard ISO 14000.

Do I have to pay more if I do not want to use the mobile application?

HSEQ Plus is our new & improved HSEQ Management System. There is only one system, the mobile application is integrated to the existing HSEQ Management System. You can choose not to you use the mobile application, but the price is fixed. The mobile application is available to all existing NECA HSEQ Management System users.

Is there training available?

The system is simple and very user friendly. There are online training videos available to help the system administrator and other system users.

Can the system be tailored?

HSEQ Plus can be tailored to your business needs, and is user friendly in retrieving documents online.

Does it help me meet the legal requirements?

It was developed to fulfill the growing need for contractors to have in place a management system that is in compliance with the workplace health and safety legal framework.
